This quaint neighborhood maintains its reputation as a very desirable area to buy a home and raise a family. Most of the homes in this small area of Fresno, Ca. were built between 1900 and the 1950’s, and have the allure of a small town within the city. The homes are well maintained and have a historic significance that cannot be altered. This is a lovely area of town to live if you appreciate the charm and character of older homes.
 
The annual Christmas Tree Lane event, which is coordinated by its own Christmas Tree Lane Committee and is entirely funded by voluntary donations. This stunning event has brought in thousands of visitors since its start in 1920.
 
Old Fig Garden continues to be a vibrant, healthy, appealing neighborhood because of the spirit of community and mutual assistance that prompted the formation of the Home Owner’s Association more than half a century ago.
